Fürst Hohenlohe-Oehringen

Fürst Hohenlohe-Oehringen is a winery in the region of Württemberg, Germany. Producing wines since 1253, it is one of the oldest German wineries. 17 hectares of vines in the monopoly situation “Verrenberger Verrenberg” provides the source of the wines. The entire Verrenberg vineyard is classified as a Grosse Lage by the VDP (Verband Deutscher Prädikatsweingüter). The winery has a few other vineyards in the neighbourhood.

Fürst Hohenlohe-Oehringen excels with its Pinot Noirs and Lembergers, but is also a producer of great Riesling and Chardonnay. Organic viticulture and winemaking since 2008 when Joachim Brand returned to the winery and became the winemaker. Joachim has left the winery in 2024 to head the winery of the Juliusspital in Würzburg, Germany.
